When working through this process your application will be in several different statuses. In this article you will see the different statuses and what each one means:
Program Application Status:
“Pending Approval”- This is when you have submitted your application for approval and it is pending review from an approver.
“In Draft”-This is when you have started an application but did not fully submit it for approval or an approver has returned the application so you can make changes/add attachments.
“Approved”-This is when you submitted the application and it was automatically approved if no reviewers are required. Or the program was reviewed and approved by the assigned approver. When the application is in this stage, the user can move to the next step and submit the course application.
“Rejected”- The program did not meet the criteria of the employer’s policy and was not eligible for reimbursement
“Withdrawn”- Your application was approved and you have decided to withdraw from the program.Once this option is selected, we cannot reverse it and a new application has to be started

“Complete”- This should only be used by the user when they have completed this degree and all courses inside have been reimbursed. Once this option has been selected, we cannot reverse it and you will have to start a new program application.
Course Application Status:
“In Draft”- The user started the course application but did not fully submit or the approver reversed the application so you can make changes/add attachments.
“Pending”- This is when you submitted the application for approval and it is pending review from either your employer or the Tuition io approval team.
“Course in progress”- This is either when the course has been pre approved and you will need to upload all of the required documents and submit for evidence approval. Or the application has been sent back from the approver, and they are needing you to provide more information or documentation. Please upload the requested documents by selecting the “EDIT GRADES” button and then selecting “submit for review”.
“Submitted for Evidence Approval”- This is when you have uploaded all the required documents and have submitted it for the last step which is evidence approval. The application is waiting for all approvers to review the documents and make the final decision.
“Course Approved”- This means that the application was fully approved by all reviewers and you will receive your reimbursement between 1-3 pay periods on your paycheck.
“Course Rejected”- This means that you did not meet all the requirements or deadlines when submitting the documents for evidence approval or that your course application was not submitted on time or is not eligible for reimbursement.
“Completed but payment not sent- “Paid date” field does not have a date yet” - This shows your application was fully approved but your payment file has not been sent to your employer for payment.
“Completed and payment file sent to payroll-”Paid date” field has a date value”- This means your application was fully approved and the payment file has been sent to your employer on that said date. You should be receiving payment soon once this has been done.
